Woodgate Beach

Recently we went to Woodgate Beach, south of Bundaberg on the Central Queensland coast. It is a beautiful part of the world. The beach is protected by the mass of Fraser Island out to sea. The 20,000 hectare national park is a few blocks inland from the beach. Woodgate
Beach is b
ordered on the northern end by Theodolite Creek and the Burrum River to the south. The place is quiet and abounds with lovely flora and fauna. It is like the untouched beaches of years ago. Kangaroos live within the community, and you will find them in the parks and backyard gardens all through this small beach community. The day we were there we saw several Brahminy Kites patrolling the beach area looking for food.
